i think cut would be around 40-45.
quants was quite easy most of them were “simply apply formula and get ans” and logical reasoning was the easiest. i have attempted around 74 and i do hope a 95% accuracy in reasoning, DI and quants.
try to be modest.u urself knw it cant be more than 33-34.
it may well be that the cutoff will be lower than 30.stop publicizing yourself.this is a thread for cutoff predictions.
it shud be around 30-34….not more than dat….
though the paper was quite easy…DI i dink was the easiest….

Guys what i feel is that though the paper was tougher than the last year’s but since there have been only 1 choice to every answer, the cut-offs would be the same as last year’s …
I am happy that there wasnt the same dual answers torture dat we had last year….
I dunno why they make such lengthy paper.. 150 question nd 120 minutes.. what crap..

as far as sectional cut off is concrnd…wt i hv heard is tht..they dont declare tht they wud b considering the sectional thing..bt at times they do consider it…
last yr the overall cut off ws in d range of 25-27..
last yr, a frnd of mine got a -ive score in GK, still she got a call… nd in d yr b4 tht….1 fellow cleared d overall cut off, bt cud nt get a decent score in 1 of d sections…he didnt receive a call…….!!!
so ppl…v cant say ne thing abt the sectional cut off thing….
lets hope.. dis yr too..they dont luk 4 sectional thing…….
cuttoff wil be between 28-30 maximum for delhi…
14-15 for OBC’s…..

paper was very tough . quant has been a nightmare for me and iift quant section was damn tough for me. i just attempted 2 questions that too with lots of ambiguity. excluding the quant section i am getting 20 to 21 marks. i belong to SC category. frnds do i have any chances ?

OBC candidates have to send a attested xerox of the obc certificate to IIFT mentioning ur application number and roll no, if u have filled the previous application as GENERAL categoy. if u come under obc now thn send
i gave the xerox of obc certi wen i filled the form……so now i don need to send it again rite…??

If there are sectional cutoffs, the overall can’t go beyond 26-27. If there are no sectional cutoffs, the overall might go slightly above 29 or 30. This is my take.
Are there 2 cutoffs one each for Delhi and Kolkota?

i got sec 1/2/3/4/5/6 — 3.9/4.6/1.6/1.6/–/4.2
over all 15.9
4 section and 5th section have to be checked again key not available.

tcy online gave overall cut off as 30 to 33 but thats bull shit i guess. in no sense 30 % of whole paper can be attained.
some answers are wrong in the answer key
last year paper was quite easy and the cutoff was 24 25..n this year it was too difficult in any case cutoff cant go beyond 25

well.. as far as the paper is concerned…
LR was simple enough and should have been attempted to maximize ones score..
QA was tough and DI was useless… how much can you do in two hours.. DI wasn attemptabl even if I had 4 hrz with me..
RC were lengthy.. n ques wer again very verbose..
VA section was of moderate diff..
GK… only God can tell…
well.. i didn write last years iift so cant compare..
but the cut off shud b sumwhere around 30 i guess…

the question paper is very lengthy and tough,the cut off will be around 29-30.No body can comment on sectional cut offs as there are 6 sections and moreover we dont know the sectional cutoffs of last year as a reference.
ny idea if SNAP has reservation for obc….???
