NMAT 2008 was conducted across India on 28th of December. It had 150 questions which were spread across three sections. Each right answer guaranteed 1 mark while an incorrect answer cost 0.25 marks.

NMAT 2008 : The Pattern and Last Year’s cut offs
This year’s NMAT had 150 questions from 3 sections. Each correct question yielded 1 marks while each wrong question attracted a penalty of 0.25 marks.
As we discussed in our last post NMAT is a test of speed and accuracy and the same pattern was followed this year as well. The questions in quant , DI and LR were very easy to solve. There was harldy any question that can be categorised as moderate or difficult.
English section did have moderately hard synonmym section and fill in the blank section.
Last year cut off for NMAT was 86 marks
NMAT 2008 Probable Cut Offs
With over 83.33 % weightage to the NMAT score in selection procedure, just qualifying cut offs is not enough . Since the difficulty level remained the same , it is almost sure that cut offs would stay the same or at best may be a mark or two less.

hi,what is the expected cut off this year for nmat?
the one with very fast speed would have surely attempt 80-90 ques. the paper was dam easy cutoff will so high.
the paper was quite simple and 2-3 questions were repeated. What can be the cut-off?

I think so cut off will be around 90..
But to clear gd/pi u must score around 105
88-92 will be the cutoff. 95+ will be a good score….(Around 110 Attempts with 90% Accuracy)

i heard from many of my frns, who appeared in NMAT test, that this time, malpractice during this test was very much.on many centers invigilators allowed cacculators and some appearents gather in a group to give the test, it will give unfair result.
ya, even i heard the same about the malpractice. We all should be unite against this issue and at least send tha mail to VC of narsee monjee , so that he may be aware about it.

100+ attempts with 85% accuracy would fetch you call from N.M.The NMAT cut offs would be around 84 to 86.
Is there any quota for Gujaratis in N.M?
What is expected cut off for SIMC ? i have heard that they double the verbal score & eliminate Quant score while giving calls to people. is it true ?
