SNAP : Eligibility Criteria, Registration Procedure and General Information





Symbiosis national aptitude test , it is also known as SNAP. It is conducted for the students who want to get admissionn in the various institutes of the symbiosis international university. The test is compulsory for all the students who want to pursue post graduate programs from the symbiosis international university.

Eligibility criteria:

The criteria of eligibility for SNAP 2008 is as follow :

1. The candidate must be a graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% in case ofstudents belonging to SC, ST and PWD.
2. If a candidate is currently in the final year of degree program then they can also apply for the examination.

Important dates:

The Important dates of SNAP 2008 are :

1. 25-11-08 – deadline for registration.
2. 29-11-08 – last date for the payment to reach symbiosis.
3. 21-12-08 – date of examination and the timings are from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
4. 10-01-09 – announcement of result.

Application process:

To get registered for SNAP, You need to follow these steps

1. As the first step you need to register online at www.snaptest.org.
2. Secondly you need to submit an application form to the desired SIU institute.
3. The third step is to wait for the admission calls from the applied SIU institutes as each college has different admission criteria.

    I m a student in aurangabad I am doing 3rd year from b.com I want to give the snap and I want clear it in 1st attempt only so should I give the exam this year only or should I give it after comleting my 3rd year ! please suggest me I will be waiting !

    Sir i am persuing my BBA external(correspondence) degree form Periyar institute of distance learning, Salem, Tamilnadu. I am currently in 3rd year. I want to appear for SNAP exam in Pune. Please inform me if i am eligible for Regular course in MBA and if i am eligible for SNAP. My score in BBA is 50%.
