XAT 2009 (Xavier Admission Test), the entrance exam to XLRI (Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur] is also the entrance test to be taken by MBA aspirants seeking admission to many other reputed Top B-Schools in the country such as XIM [Xavier Institute of Management] Bhubaneswar, LIBA [Loyola Institute of Business Administration], Chennai, and many other reputed B Schools such as XIME Bangalore.

XAT usually comprises 3 Objective type Multiple Choice sections and an essay writing section.
Verbal Reasoning (English) - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
Quantitative Ability and Reasoning (Math) - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning - (Objective Type Multiple Choice)
And an essay writing section
The duration of the test is 120 minutes for the objective type section and an additional 15 minutes is provided at the end of the 2 hours for the essay writing section.

XAT 2009 Teaching Methodology

Ascent Education in association with RACE Loyola (Research Academy of Cumulative Excellence, Loyola), an initiative by Loyola College, Chennai, offers intensive coaching for XAT 2009. The classes start right from the basics in the area of Math, English and Logical reasoning and walk you through advanced concepts tested in XAT.

Faculty Members and Mentors

Faculty members comprise experienced professors and professionals and includes graduates from top B Schools such as XIM Bhubaneswar, BIM Trichy and the IIMs.

In addition to these regular faculty members, LIBA Professors and students will participate in periodic mentoring sessions for RACE Loyola students on how to crack the XAT.

Class Schedule

Classes for this batch will be conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Class timings will be between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM have been scheduled keeping in mind working hours of city colleges on weekdays.

Fees

The fees for the XAT 2009 classroom training program is Rs.9500 only (Rupees Nine Thousand Five Hundred Only).
